Queensland, Australia
Gold Coast, Queensland
The first time I visited Gold Coast was in 1990, one month after I migrated to Australia.
Since then it has always been a favourite holiday destination for my family because of its tropical climate. You can even go swimming during winter.
Also, there are many places to explore and theme parks to visit. I would like to say that Gold Coast is one of the most popular tourist destination in Australia.
As the most famous saying goes “Queensland, beautiful today, perfect the next!”

Venice, Italy
The city of Venice is small and easy enough for you to walk it for several hours. A city of stone of water – it is truly nostalgic. You can’t miss St. Mark’s Square which is considered to be the heart of it.
The gondola ride through its whimsical canals with live singing and accompaniment is romantic and so worth it.
And while you’re in Venice, you might want to consider taking a private boat to Burano Island which is about 45 minutes from St Mark’s Square.
The island’s picturesque village is a kaleidoscope of colours. Known for fishing and lace-making, it is laid back and unassuming.
Couldn’t help but recall going to one of the local restaurants (there’s only a few) that served the best seafood risotto I’ve had so far. It was absolutely divine!

Miracle Garden, Dubai
Al Barsha South 3, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
I’ve always wanted to travel and explore different places, and during the time when I was still working in Saudi Arabia, traveling to Dubai seemed appealing to me.
The moment I stepped in the garden, I realised this was worth the trip. It has to be in our ‘bucket list’.
When we visited Dubai Miracle Garden (DMG), I can say we picked the right timing. This was around second-third week of December, the season was right before winter. The flowers are blooming, the weather’s perfect to walk around the park, and not too crowded because it’s not school holidays yet.
What was breathtaking was the massive flower sculpture of the Emirates airplane! I may be wrong, but I think it’s a life-sized one, covered with flowers. Each part of the garden have it’s own theme, which would not bore visitors. Truly, it’s an experience we will never forget.

QUEENSTOWN, NEW ZEALAND
Lake Wakatipu and Surrounds
Located at the south island of New Zealand, Queenstown boasts the undeniable impressive view of the southern alps and Lake Wakatipu.
The panoramic view of Lake Wakatipu is a stunning destination every Queenstown visitors will appreciate.
Plenty of activities for those who are not faint-hearted. Yet there are an abundance of places for those who wish to simply want to relax and unwind.
You can enjoy a more impressive view from the skyline while riding the gondola or feast yourself with a sumptuous buffet at Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar.
