This idea has come into fruition with the belief that every Filipino has an inspiring story to tell.  A story that can encourage anyone from all walks of life.

I am a very optimistic person and believes in the potential of continuous learning. I trust that every experience is worth telling and can be transformed into an information that can be useful in our decision-making.

A true Filipina by heart but my blood carries Spanish and Japanese descendants. I grew up from a little town called Pateros which is famous for producing “balut“.  My childhood is but a spectrum of non-digital era but it was absolutely fun and exciting. Catholicism vastly influenced my life. My morals and ethics were moulded when I studied at Colegio del Buen Consejo and College of the Holy Spirit. Later in life,  it was enriched and beautifully transitioned with having a personal relationship with the Lord. 

Professionally, I worked nine years in Customer Service and Workforce Management at Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. before migrating to Australia. We applied directly at the Australian Immigration Department as professional skilled migrants. I chose to believe that it was an experience truly driven by the good grace of God. In retrospect, my education and love for family drives us to where we are now. Today, I consider that our destinations can still be profoundly explored. 

Today, I call Australia home.

For more than 16 years, I traversed the many opportunities before me and enjoyed the company of individuals that came along. I love the connection and learned a lot from the diversity of culture and people. I jumped from one administration job to another whilst simultaneously fulfilling my thirst for information technology. Although I completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at AMA Computer College Makati, I have always been curious on current technologies and what good it can do to us. My passion for learning and technology kept me abreast by completing Certifications and Bachelor of Business in Information Systems at Victoria University. Consequently, it paid off when I landed myself a career as a Business Analyst at the City of Port Phillip council. Amidst the challenging profession, I shifted my interest into studying Cyber Security. With great relief and satisfaction, I recently completed my Master of Cyber Security at Edith Cowan University. 

Beyond this, I know there is something more and “the best is yet to come!”. This site is one of those culmination of works I have been longing to achieve and considered worth doing. I would like to connect and learn from family and friends lost in time. But more than that, I would like to explore and create a Filipino community that will be passionate to share their experiences and inspire people of the very path they have successfully lived through.
